I got a box of DUCKS!

A box of rubber ducks with PATO stamped across their chest

Hey folks!

I am officially launching PATO on Wednesday with a ribbon cutting at our local Small Business Development Center! Excited to see a few friends and new faces, and talk about the state of play at work for a couple of hours.

I also got a box of absolutely adorable ducks! They even SQUEAK~

Join me in celebrating by finding a duck somewhere – outside, a doodle, a rubber duck, any duck! – and share it with me by hitting reply here or on social media with the hashtag #duckaround

So what does PATO really do?

Play is our innate way of connecting, experimenting, and fulfilling our needs. We know play is good for people and teams, but there just isn’t a clear way to learn about and apply play in the ways that make sense for each and every unique team. That’s what I do!

If you’re looking for support embedding play at work, work with me! I run team assessments, design custom workshops, and facilitate games to meet team goals. And if the right game doesn’t exist yet, I’ll make it for ya!

Next quarter, I’ll be running a small cohort for 5 folks interested in learning how to integrate play into their team. We’ll be covering playfulness, trying games together, and designing play practices. Interested? Let me know!

Until then, I’ve got quite a few free activities on the site and a free 5 question snapshot for ideas on what to try with your team. As well as the art check-in template, which you can use at the beginning of any meeting for a little fun and connection.
