Hi folks!
First, an announcement! Last week, PATO had its ribbon cutting ceremony! Once the ribbon was snipped with those classic giant scissors, we headed off to play some games together! It was a lovely couple of hours connecting over some simple, silly skill building games.

Now on to the news! The Steam Summer Sale is on! If you’re not familiar, Steam is a platform and marketplace for PC games. Lots of great games go on sale throughout the year, but the summer sale is the biggest one. I’ve picked up a ton of games already…
If you’re looking to play games with your team but you need something that doesn’t require much learning or setup, start with one of the Jackbox Party Packs on Steam. Also available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch…but only on sale on Steam! Jackbox games rarely go on sale, and the summer sale is the best discount you’ll see across the collection.
These are party style games with built-in facilitation. You only need to purchase one copy, run the game, share screen, and then anyone anywhere can join by entering a unique code on a website via phone, tablet, or computer. From there, just follow the game’s facilitated instructions!
Many of the games naturally build on skills like deduction, strategy, communication, collaboration, creativity, quick thinking, public speaking, and team connection.
So which pack should you get? It can be a little overwhelming with 11 different options. All of the Party Packs are on sale, but I recommend getting one of the following:
If you want to get a taste of what Jackbox games are all about, grab the Party Starter Pack, which includes 3 of the most popular games: Quiplash, a fill-in-the-blank game, Tee K.O, a head to head drawing battle game, and Trivia Murder Party, a hilarious horror themed trivia game.
Party Pack 6 is another well rounded and affordable option that includes 5 games: Trivia Murder Party, Dictionarium, a creative word game, Push the Button, a social deduction game, Joke Boat, a joke writing game, and Role Models, a sorting and discussion game.
Or go all in on the best of the best with the Quintpack bundle which includes 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. You will always have easy to run games on hand to play with your team. This bundle includes all of the above, and even more games with a wider range of skill building.

Personally, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are my go-tos when working with teams. There’s just enough variety for a mix of skill building, fun, and connection.
The Steam Summer Sale runs until July 9th, so you’ll likely hear from me on some more games to play next week!
Good luck, have fun,
Lissy
P.S. I don’t get any kickbacks if you purchase one of the party packs. I just love ’em. If you have questions, send an email or a DM! I can talk about each one of these games AT LENGTH!😆 So please use me as a resource!
